The system in motion

Maestra turns professional motion-capture hardware into a plug-and-play interface for sound, light, lasers and visuals. This lets artists and technicians control their entire live setup through gesture, without writing code or wrestling with manual mapping.

The walkthrough below shows the current Maestra software end to end, the desktop application and the Max for Live devices that integrate directly into Ableton Live, from raw glove data to AI-assisted mapping.

Audio control

Live gestural control of sound through the Ableton integration. A flexible, user-friendly mapping workflow built directly into the artist's existing setup.

02

Laser control

Real laser output driven by hand gestures, using Maestra's MadMapper integration and proprietary laser shaders.

03

ML hit detection

Our own gesture model reads the movement of your hands and turns it into drum hits in real time. Trained in-house, it is the first module in Maestra's gesture-recognition system.
